Suzanne Tevlin is a Canadian artist, art historian and writer.

As winner of the prestigious Forsyth Award, at OCAD, she continued her studies at l’Universite de Paris-Sorbonne, Accademia de Belle Arte in Florence, l’Université de Nice, & l’Ecole du Louvre.

Suzanne has taught drawing and painting, and lectured at the University of Toronto, St Michael’s College U of T, OCAD, Parsons-Paris, Musées Ephrussi de Rothschild and Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, New Mexico.

She has had numerous exhibitions in Paris, Monaco, along the Cote d’Azur, and in London, as well as in Canada. She is represented in collections throughout Europe and North America.

Suzanne lived in France for a decade, is bilingual, and has been associated with a Paris gallery for over 25 years.

The 10 day painting workshop that I will lead at Le Vieux Couvent will be an event of artistic magnificence. We will work/experiment with oil, water based, or mixed media, including some of the new water based ink media, and water soluble graphite media recently available in reputable art supply shops.

If you are a dabbler, a Sunday painter, a gifted amateur, or an artist of some skill, in need of other creatives to get you artistic mojo back in gear, this will be the perfect setting for you.

Most of our days will be spent out of doors, working en plein air. What a delight our time together will be.

We will also have art talks in the evenings, when possible, to discuss artists who particularly relate to the subject/venue of the day.
